Debate

The Carrollton debaters are hardworking and enthusiastic
about their team, constantly putting tremendous effort into
their work. Debate consists o f long hours of
researching, acquiring quick argument skills, attending
summer programs, and keeping a determined attitude
throughout all competitions. This year, the Carrollton debate
team was fortunate enough to receive a new Debate teacher,
Mr. Carver, who initiated many changes and
adjustments to the program. In addition, this is the first year
in which the Carrollton debate team has been invited to the
finals, which the girls are all extremely thrilled about. All in all,
the debate team has prevailed and is prepared for another
exciting year of intellectual competition.
