“We are going to party like it is 1999” could be heard blaring from the radio as enthi
siastic Congress members introduced the 1998 Spirit Week theme. From the week!
November 16, the Carrollton community proved that this was one of the best spii
weeks that had taken place. On Monday, also known as Color Day, each grade cm
faculty was assigned a specific color to dress up in. The Mighty Orange FYeshnvj
proved their spirit as they were chosen as the winning class. On Tuesday, studeni
chose a friend or two and dressed up for Twin Day. Costumes such as Belen stj
dents and Cyclone cheerleaders could be seen around the halls. On WednescM
qfier mass, the students enjoyed delicious blue and yellow cookies as their goum
On Thursday it was Decade Day with clothes ranging from bell bottoms to pood
skirts to high top sneakers. The students also enjoyed a game of “Carrollton Foma
Feud”, where the blue and gold teams competed for points. Caro Blanco, senior sfe)
ed that “Preparing Spirit Week took a lot of effort, but in the end the results wereJM
worth the time and energy put into making it a success”. The Congress has tbq
work cut out for them next year when they prepare Spirit Week
