The Sophom ore Class on Thurs­
day, November 21, 1996, sponsored
the high school’s annual Field Day.
The theme o f this year’s field day was
“The O lym pics.” Field Day provided
the high school students with a chance
to enjoy themselves while competing
in blue/gold com petitions. Students
participated in games such as: 4-way
tug-of-war, dodge ball, volleyball,
bowling, the obstacle course, a banner
contest, and a video contest. A ll the
activities gave the players a chance to
earn points fo r their team. Students
were able to freely express their spirit
and pride in both Carrollton and their
team. A fte r lunch, Mr. Tom Basler
entertained the students with a whole
repertoire o f songs which sent the stu­
dents dancing.
The Gold team was the fie ld day
but the spirit exhibited by all the par­
ticipants made everyone especially the
school, a winner.
