Throughout the years, Spirit Week has been a tradi- ®
tion at Carrollton. This year’s Spirit Week was a big I
success. On Monday, everyone dressed in college relat- | i
ed attire. On Tuesday, the students dressed as tacky as Ilf l i l \
they could. During lunch, the High School had a con- n | B v Y i| ^ 7
test that consisted of the tacky students parading their !I y ^ ifflr --
costumes in the PAC. The winners of this contest were ^
Nina Wallin and Suzette Menendez. On Wednesday, '1= H p .
the students participated in a congress sponsored game ® \ IS
named Carrollton P.I. The game divided the school into ?>? ,aw * f |
the blue and gold teams. The blue team who won the ~ ~ -:y- *
game, gained eleven points for field day. To end the . j
week the school had its annual field day. On this day ■ H B il
school spirit was at its highest. The students were unit- ^ ’
ed to reach one goal, to win. At the end of the day the Suzette Menendez acknowledges her victory as she
gold team won once again; maintaining their three year becomes Tacky Queen 96
victory against the blue team. As Monica Gonzalez said
“it was an event to remember.”
