The Fixer
The Fixer is someone who does things for someone else rather than
helping them to gain the skills to be able to do things themselves.
If you have slipped into a Fixer position, you might hear yourself
saying:
I’ll do it, don’t worry – it’s quite difficult.
I’m really busy but I guess I’ll just
have to step in as no-one else will!
They wouldn’t manage without me!
If it wasn’t for us it would be
chaos around here…
Give it here – they’ll only
I’ll sort it. I always do. make a mess of it.
I suppose it will be left to me again!
