What I want to get better at:

When I don’t think I can do well at something I can stay

steady and calm like a swan.

Things I am going to try to help me with this.
        1. Go to the quiet area for a few minutes and use my breathing strategy.
        2. Hold a stress ball (using it in a way that’s good for everyone).
        3. Listen to my ‘feel good’ track.
        4. Ask my chosen friend for the 1-minute calm chat we’ve practised .
        5. Speak to my named adult and ask for help.

I will draw these on my calm wheel.
I can use it to remind me when I have big feelings.

New neural pathways take time to build.

This means it will take practice before I can do this easily every time.

I stayed calm and found a way to feel good.
