What I want to get better at:
When I don’t think I can do well at something I can stay
steady and calm like a swan.
Things I am going to try to help me with this.
1. Go to the quiet area for a few minutes and use my breathing strategy.
2. Hold a stress ball (using it in a way that’s good for everyone).
3. Listen to my ‘feel good’ track.
4. Ask my chosen friend for the 1-minute calm chat we’ve practised .
5. Speak to my named adult and ask for help.
I will draw these on my calm wheel.
I can use it to remind me when I have big feelings.
New neural pathways take time to build.
This means it will take practice before I can do this easily every time.
I stayed calm and found a way to feel good.
