8. Common to all neurodivergent profiles is ‘abilities being
out of balance’ – there being a big difference between
strengths and areas of difficulty.
9. Areas of Executive Functions are common difficulties for
people with neurodifferent profiles.
10. We can build new neural circuitry and this is called
neuroplasticity. Studies have shown that this is possible
even into a person’s 70s.
New neural circuitry can be built through focus and
practice. Sometimes, it may be that a person will always
need scaffolds to support a difficulty.
