c. The importance of Emotional Granularity

‘emotional granularity’.

This is the skill of spotting the

difference between different

emotional states, including:

▪ Pleasant and unpleasant feelings

▪ High and low energy

We use the ‘affect model’ to help

children build emotional granulation.
