Important Early Skills
The foundations of early brain building include the early
development of important skills such as attention control, flexible
thinking, impulse control and emotional and energy regulation.
If a child does not have adults in their
life who react, listen and play with
them positively these early connections
do not develop properly.
If a child’s experiences are very limited,
that will also mean that fewer and
weaker neural connections are built.
This can lead to differences in learning and behaviour.
