                             Practise this at least a few times a week so



















                             thinking it through becomes a fast neural



















                             connection:

























                             1. Take one issue that happened in the previous few days.























                             2. Label chairs with the names of people involved in the issue






















                             3. One by one, sit in each chair. Try and get into the brain of that















                                                   person. What were they thinking? Feeling? Try to explain your
















                                                   perspective as if you were them.






















                             4. Now imagine you are in a helicopter looking down. What
















                                                   would you say about the situation now?





























                             5. Now imagine you are someone who happened to be walking















                                                   by. What did they think and feel when they saw this happen?
















                                                   Is it the same as your perspective or different?
