How the Brain Develops Part 1
The areas nearer the
back of our brain
develop first.
These areas are in
charge of skills such as
co-ordination (moving
your body) and vision
(seeing things).
The last part of our brain to develop is the area at
the front of the brain; it’s fancy name is the ‘pre-
frontal cortex’.
This area of the brain is
in charge of more
complex thinking skills.
These skills help us to
concentrate, plan
ahead, make decisions,
work with others and
solve problems.
They help us to do well
in learning and life.
