Overview and Purpose
Aggression in adolescents is a rising concern linked to social tension.

aggressiveness. It aims to clarify their relationship and develop
correction strategies.
Research Objectives and Methodology
The study seeks to:
- Identify aggression types and mental states
- Compare mental states across aggression levels
- Develop corrective strategies
Sample: 30 adolescents aged 12–14, divided into risk and control
groups.
Tools used: Bass-Darky Questionnaire, Phillips' Test, Eysenck's Self-
Assessment.
Understanding Mental States
Mental states differ from traits or processes. Various theories explain
them:
- Process-based: Reflects ongoing mental activity
- Personality-based: Influenced by individual traits
- Environmental-based: Response to surroundings
- Mixed approach: Incorporates internal and external factors
They manifest as emotional experiences and behavioural patterns
with regulatory and adaptive roles.
Aggression vs. Aggressiveness
- Aggression: Destructive, harmful behaviour
- Aggressiveness: Disposition or readiness to behave aggressively
Types of aggression include physical, verbal, indirect, instrumental,
and hostile.
