Autism Facts

There are around 700,000 autistic people in the UK.

Approx. 50% of autistic people also have a learning disability
(i.e. a low IQ).

Autism is a hidden disability – you cannot always see or tell if

someone is autistic.

Only 16% of all autistic adults in the UK are in full-time, paid
employment.
