Working with Autistic Colleagues
❖ Remove jargon from communications.
It is easy for jargon to become an unconscious part of language.
❖ Include language preferences during induction with a neurodivergent person.
❖ Avoid using personality tests.
❖ Ask what your colleague needs.
❖ Be conscious of co-occurring conditions and how they
co-exist with neurodivergent conditions.
