We can keep focused on what we can



       control






       People often think about what they cannot control. This can cause them to


       feel trapped and unhappy.





       Focusing on what we can control


       helps us to feel a greater sense of


       control over situations.





       For example, during lockdown, people


       could focus on what they could control:


       they could decide a daily routine, learn a


       new hobby and keep in touch with friends through online video. They


       could focus on the positives, for example, being able to spend all day


       with their pet dog or cat!
