How strong are your brain habits?
I explained how the things we say and do can Do you hide and freeze? Do you avoid? Do you run?
become strong brain habits.
Let’s say, whenever we don’t feel we count, we avoid Do you avoid? Do you run?

talking about it. We don’t tell the person how things scared! I’m

are for us.
Instead of dealing with the prickle and telling the

the unpleasant feeling or tell people we are fine.
If we keep doing this, the brain pathways for
avoiding the things become stronger.
It becomes a strong brain habit. Just like the more
threads holding a button on to a coat, the stronger the
button stays on. Good and bad habits can become strong.
The good news is that we can change those habits. It just takes lots of
practice! We will look at that more next time.
