HOW CAN WE BOOST DOPAMINE?


































                     1. Exercise:























                     try and do some exercise before school each day –





















                     it will help you manage the day better.




































                     2. Get your dopamine with goals:






























                     a) Work out some key goals you want to achieve.





















                     b) Ask your parents and some staff you trust at school to help you with this.





















                     c) Plan tiny steps towards each goal – write them down.





















                     d) Tick each step when you achieve it and shout “YES! I did it”.
































                     3. Plan ahead as much as possible:
























                     When we feel in control, dopamine is released. When we feel





















                     confused, uncertain or disorganised, a stress chemical is





















                     released instead. That means it is REALLY important to plan





















                     ahead. We will look at this strategy more in the next session – we call it





















                     Prep4Best.
