3. I CAN SEE THINGS FROM MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES
a. I interpret what I see and hear accurately based on evidence. I do not over-generalise by
saying things like “They all hate me!” I’m stupid” or “This always happens to me!”
b. I can imagine and think of different possibilities. I can think hypothetically.
c. I can think of different reasons for someone doing something or something happening e.g.
I can think of different reasons why my friend did not say good morning to me.
d. I can imagine how things may have been for other people; I can see things from different
viewpoints (see Chair Swap model)
e. I can look at situations from lots of different angles.
f. I can put things into perspective e.g. I can see that my phone screen breaking is not as bad
as the death of a pet.
g. I can change my position or views on something when I am given evidence for a different
viewpoint.
4. I CAN PROBLEM-SOLVE CREATIVELY
a. I can problem solve, suggesting different ways to solve an issue.
b. I can think through different options before making a decision.
c. When I come across a problem or difficulty, I stop and think of different ways to solve it.

d. I can try different ideas when solving a problem, rather than getting fixed on one idea.
e. I can shift away from the original plan, idea or solution.
