Step 2: Help children improve their
neurobiological balance so they FEEL better
and can DO better through increased
resilience of stressors
There are four parts to this step:
a. Help children understand the neurobiology of met and unmet
needs – in the moment and over time.
b. Help children to find helpful ways to get their Daily DOSE.
c. Take action to stop stress levels rising too high – reduce
stressors
d. Help children find daily Stress Busting activities that work well
for them
