What do you want to have? (e.g. a close circle of friends; at least 2 interests / hobbies that
you enjoy; enough money to go out with your friends; a particular qualification, grade or
award? Your own business?
▪ Goal Setting: when do you want these things by?
Ask someone to help you plan how you will achieve your ‘Be Do Have’ by the date you want
these to be achieved. Work backwards, planning each step.
If you follow some of these ideas for improving your resilience, you will definitely start manage
tough times more easily and being able to stay in control.
