Learning about stress
I explained that, if stress chemicals get too high in the
body day after day, it can mean stress chemicals do not
go back down. They stay up high all the time.
If our stress stays up high day after day, it can
change what we call our ‘Balance of Life’. Our
balance can become skewed towards vulnerability.
When our Balance of Life is
skewed towards vulnerability
someone can get worried and
upset more easily. They can find
it harder to stay calm when
things go wrong. They are more
likely to get prickly very easily.
The good news is that we can do something about it.
We can help them reset their Balance of Life by working at reducing
cortisol levels.
