      1. When we know from the science that some people aren’t


             so lucky and will find it genuinely more difficult to keep


             to expectations and manage stressors, it seems crazy that

             we would do things that make the situation worse.





      2. Our job as parents, carers, educators or supporters

             should be to help children feel better and build the skills


             to manage when stressors come their way.





      3. It is clear from the Cycle of Stress-Based Behaviours that,


             if we simply do things that make a child feel worse, we

             can expect the challenging behaviour to also get worse.
