                         Dear Mrs Slggers

Your complaint- Mortgage Current Account (MCA) Limit
                         Cap

                         We've finished our investigation

This letter is to let you know that we've now finished our investigation into your complaint. and to tell you our
decision, I am sorry that I did not manage to talk to you when I tried contacting you onboth your Home and Mobile
phone numbers. I'd like to assure you that we've looked into your complaint very carefully.
                         About your complaint
                         Your complaint was. in summary:
                         • You are unhappy because the credit limit on your MCA has been capped.
                         Our decision

I am sorry that you have had reason to complain. You contacted us because the limit on your MCA has been capped
following a phone call from your ex-husband. You would like this cap to be removed so that you can access the funds.
The cap was applied to the MCA followtng a call from your ex-husband In which he Informed us that their was a
marital dispute between the two of you and that it was not amicable, When this occurs the Banks procedures require
that any limit on a MCA Is capped at £ 1 ,000.00 above the outstanding balance at that time. During a call between
ourselves on 18 January you informed me that this matter had been taken to court and that your ex-husband had
been ordered to contact us to request that the funds be unfrozen.
I have been advised that once the Bank has been made aware that the courts have been involved we can not remove
a limit cap without being provided with a certified copy of the Court Order so that the Banks legal department can
                         review it and provide guidance.
To do this either you or your ex-husband will need to take a copy in to branch and have it certified and a copy
forwarded on to the following address:
