Installed fire protection equipment

Fire resistance doors

Fire resistant doors are installed throughout the

hospital.

The alarms should never be wedged or propped

open by heavy objects, neither should they be

blocked.

If a fire door is found to be blocked, edged,

propped open or damaged in any way the

Facilities Management should be informed

immediately.
