Commemoratives
& Donations
Commemorative donations are a meaningful way to remember a deceased friend or relative, or to honor someone on a special occasion. Donations are used to purchase books and other materials for the library, or may be directed to the Endowment Fund as a way to help sustain the library in the future. All donations should be directed to the Library Director.
To make a commemorative donation to purchase a book or other materials, checks should be made out to the “Oxford Public Library”.
To make a commemorative donation to the Oxford Public Library Endowment Fund, checks should
be made payable to the “Four County Community Foundation”, with “Oxford Public Library Endowment” notated in the notes field.
Commemorative Donations to the Endowment Fund:
In Memory of Dawn Salswedel
• Bryan J. Cloutier
In Memory of Ginnie Gentry
• Oxford Garden Club
General Donations to the Endowment Fund:
• Nancy & Donald Pais
The Oxford Public Library Friends group recently made a $10,000 donation to the Library. $5,000 was given to support ongoing quality educational programming, and another $5,000 was given towards the purchase of the new display cases in the Atrium Foyer.
