Read books and win prizes! Beanstack (miopl.beanstack.org/ ) an online platform will keep track of your books and offer additional activities. Three completed books will qualify you for prizes, but the more you read the better your chances! Winners will receive gift cards for local businesses, book bags or free books. Hands on Class – Hand building
With Clay
January 21, 3:00 p.m.
OR February 11, 3:00 p.m. Join artist Virginia Bur and experience the
craftsmanship of hand building with clay! In this class, we will explore the ideas
of slab building, sculpture, coil or pinch methods of forming ceramic arts. All tools, supplies and colorants/glazes are provided. All pieces will be high fired and, therefore, will be food safe. *Firing time takes about a month and items will be returned to the library for pick up.
