Animals in polar area can’t wear heavy clothes to

protect themselves from the very cold weather but

they depend on the traits they have to avoid the

coldness in the polar area

• Some animals shiver to keep their muscles warm

• Some fluff their feathers to get warm air

• Some animals have thick fur and extra layers of

blubber to keep warm.
