Blubber: Thick fatty layer with many blood vessels
It is considered as heat insulator
Notice that blubber is a heat insulator that means that it
slows down the heat transfer from polar bear to the cold
environment.
So, blubber keeps the body of polar bear warm.

Polar bear: has white fur,
thick fatty layer (blubber)
Blubber (fatty layer) prevents the loss of
heat from their bodies to the surrounding
environment and keeps their bodies warm.
