(Present Perfect with For / Since)

Present Perfect Questions with How long?
We use (How long) in the present perfect tense to ask questions
about something that started in the past and is still happening.
e.g.: How long has chocolate existed?
e.g.: How long have people written with pens?
We use (for) or (since) in the answers:
(For): It comes before a period of time.
e.g.: for 5 days / for 6 moths / for one week
(Since): It comes before a date or a particular point in time.
e.g.: since the 1940s / since 2015 / since May / since Saturday/
