                   2-Analysis (Splitting) Of
                          White Light


          It is the splitting of white light into seven colours called Spectrum Colours



       spectrum colors: White light consists of mixture seven colors.
       A triangular glass prism is used to analyze white light into its seven colors which are: Red ,

         orange , yellow , green , blue , indigo , violet which different in:
                     -Wave length                       - Frequency                  -Angle of deviation


                                                                                Red is closer to the
                                                                                apex of the prism. It
                                                                                has the least
                                                                                deviation and the
                                                                                lowest frequency.


                                                                                Violet is closer to
                                                                                the base of the
                                                                                prism. It has the
                                                                                maximum deviation
                                                                                and the highest
                                                                                frequency



                  3-Energy Of  Light Waves



        The German scientist Max Planck Proved that the energy of a light wave consists of quanta

       of energy known as photons

       The Energy of the photon is directly proportional
       to the frequency of the light wave.




             The Energy of the Photon = Planck's constant X frequency of the photon



                         The constant value is known as Planck's constant
