Thermography

A technique uses a camera to detect the thermal radiation (IR) emitted

from objects & convert into colored image where the colors depend on the

object’s temperature.

Its camera is used in:

1- Imaging in dark

2- Detecting the temperature of objects

Snakes are able to hunt their preys at night as they have

sensory receptors at the front of heads enable them to detect IR

emitted from the preys’ bodies.
