Compound Microscope
• It magnifies cells that can’t be seen by the unaided eye.
To look at the specimen
Hold and move the microscope Objective lenses to change
the magnifying power
Place the slide on it
Secure the slide on the stage
Adjust the
clear focus.

Steps for using the microscope
1- Place the slide on the stage and secure it with the stage clip.
2- Pick up the lowest power objective lens.
3- Look at the slide through the eyepiece while
adjusting the focusing knobs to get clearer view.
4- Clean up the slide and store the microscope safely.
