Sun is the primary source of energy for all organisms to live.
It is necessary for all living organisms as:
1- Plants depend on sunlight to make their food by
photosynthesis.
2- Animals feed on plants or other animals or both in feeding.
3- Bacteria and fungi feed on decomposing dead bodies.
? All living organisms require energy to do all activities.
? Our bodies still use energy even when we sleep.
? Animals can’t make their food like plants, so they get the
energy from the environment.
? Living organisms feed on another so energy passes between
them.
Living organisms are classified according to the way of feeding into:
1- Producers 2- Consumers 3- Decomposers
