Dividing Integers:

If 7 x 5 = 35 , then : 35 ÷ 7 = 5 35 ÷ 5 = 7

                                                            ,

This means that:

Multiplication operation produces two division operations.

• the quotient of two integers of the same signs is a positive
   integer.

• the quotient of two integers having different signs is a
   negative integer.

  Examples (2) (-27) ÷ (9) = -3
                           (4) zero ÷ 8 = zero
(1) 25 ÷ (-5) = -5

(3) (-32) ÷ (-4) = -8

(5) 8 ÷ zero = has no meaning
