Sand dunes



              Sand dunes: landforms which are made

              when something like rock blocks the wind.



               -  Sand dunes are formed due to erosion and deposition processes
                   caused by wind.

               -  Sand dunes usually seen in groups, and they may cover a large area.
               -  Sand dunes can be hundreds of meters tall.

               -  They are common landforms between beach and sandy desert.



               Sand dunes movement:


               -  Sand dunes are continuously moving as follow:
















               The wind moves the sand where:

               -  The distance that the sand travels depend on the force of the wind.

               -  The way the sand moves depends on the direction of the wind.
