Bowe allegedly stole a $250 bracelet from the wrist of Martha Temple at the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Bergen Street, causing some physical injury to her. He also attempted to escape from Dory, according to a police spokesman.WIELDS KNIFE: Police arrested Mark Griner, 18, of 90 La thin Town Rd., Newburgh, N.Y., and Gregory Paschall, 19, of 611 East 49 St., Brooklyn, both students of Polytechnic Institute, who witnesses said were harassing pedestrians with a ten-inch knife on the promenade at Pierrepont Street. The incident occurred at 3:15 a.m. on September 11. Veteran police officers Leslie Scheuer and Frank Minafo of the 84th Precinct made the arrests and charged the suspect with menacing, possession of a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana. Paschall reportedly tried to slash Scheuer but was subdued.THE BIG CHASE: Officer Joseph Favor of the 76th Precinct arrested Nelson Canini, 20, 75 Dikeman Street and Herman Moultrie, 19, 752 Henry Street afier liiey allegedly broke into Jonas Auto Parts, 353 Hamilton Avenue, and removed money from the cash register. Favor says he saw the three leaving the store through a broken window. After a one-block chase he caught them and charged them with burglary, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.GOT TURNED OFF: Police say Johnnie Joyner, 34, of 185 Fourth Avenue menaced tenant Mary Lindsay, 53, of the building iwth a hunting knife and later turned off the power in her apartment. Officer Michael Moloney of the 78th Precinct arrested Joyner and charged him with menacing, possession of a dangerous weapon and harassment.BASEBALL BASH: Raymond Gonzales was allegedly pounded by baseball bats swung by Lui Acevedo, 30, of 667 Henry Street and Rafael Torres, 18, of 96 Luquer Street August 25 at 2:10 a.m. Officer Joseph Favor arrested the two and charged them with assault.FELONIOUS ASSAULT: Officer Frederick Terrance of the 76th Precinct arrested Thomas Gilliam, 20, of 135 Richard Street after the accused allegedly threw a bottle in Coffee Park August 24 at 12:45 a.m., striking Harry Gibbs, 19, who received a laceration in his chest cavity. Gilliam was charged with felonious assault.IN THE STORE: Officer Louis Bates of the 78th Precinct says he saw a man inside Ayuar Fausto Grocery, 486 Dean Street, at 5:35 a.m. on August 24.
