Parmentier, one of the most acclaimed theatre organists in the country at the height of the Silent Film era, will give a concert at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 18, at Long Island University%u2019s Brooklyn Center, Flatbush Avenue Extension at DeKalb Avenue, in downtown Brooklyn. The concert is sponsored by the New York Theatre Organ Society.A classical and contemporary arranger and composer, Dr. Parmentier will perform on the, famed Wurlitzer Theatre Organ housed in the orchestra section of the former Brooklyn Paramount Theatre, the first movie house built exclusively for sound motion pictures.
