Cohen/Wilbur MorrisDuo, Cohen is responsible for vocals andpoetry, while Morris plays bass. In the Jeffrey Schanzer Ensemble, Leroy Jenkins ison violin, Ned Rothenberg plays woodwinds,Sch&nzer plays guitar, Lindsey Homer,bass, and Bobby Previte, drums.Both concerts will be held at 8pm at St.Ann%u2019s Church, 157 Montague St. Admissionis $5. June 22is the date for the event, and showtime is4pm.Peaston is a jazz and R&B vocalist whohas recorded and toured as a member ofLester Bowie%u2019s Roots to the Source. Allen%u2019squintet will perform original works fromher two albums. The event takes a look atentertainment %u201cfrom the Stone Age to theSpace Age.%u201d According to cabaret coordinator Mary Ruth Goodley, the emphasisof %u201cSwingin%u2019 in the Breeze%u201d will not be theBroadway stage, but %u201cmusic and dance ofall ages.%u201dThe cabaret will be performed by VinceCapriotti, Ron Coombs, Ken Dray,Catharine Guiher, Mark Hunt, Richard McCoy, Denise O%u2019Brien, Michael Pantone, andMaryann Swift and others.
