The mugging, which occurred at o:0opm at Bergen Si. and Fourth Ave. during which it is alleged that Davis struck the victim in the face and took $100 from his wallet.THREE AT ONCE: On May 25 at 5:55am, Officer Rithschils arrested three men who he observed stripping a car in the rear of a parking lot at 572 Warren St. Robert Correa, 17, of Union St., Herberto Mendez, 18, of Fifth Ave., and Walter Santos, 18, of Fifth Ave. were all taken in on charges of auto stripping, possession of burglary tools, and possession of weapons.CHEVROLET GET-AWAY: Anthony Rico of Union St. was arrested on May 27 at 3:30am for grand larceny theft of a 1977 Blue Chevrolet. The arrest was made at 9 St. and Second Ave. by Officer Ervin.BAD BUMP: A 17-year-old male bumped into a 30-year-old Hispanic man who told him, %u2018You have two choices: Run and get killed, or give it up.%u201d He took $15 off the teen, and fled. This happened at 11:55am on May 28, at the comer of Adelphi St. and Myrtle Ave.CABBIE ROBBED: Two black men got into a taxi cab at the corner of Carleton and Myrtle Aves. on May 27, at 4:10am, and then asked to be taken to Flatbush Ave. and Myrtle. Before the cab moved, one of the men pulled a gun and told the driver %u2018%u2018Give us the money and you won%u2019t get hurt.%u201d The cabbie gave them $147, and they left.IN RESIDENCE: A 55-year old man in his home at 100 Remsen Street was struck in the head with an ashtray, by a man who removed a cross from his neck and took his money on May 24 at 4:15pm. P.O. Martin from the 84th Precinct later arrested Stuard Gibbson from Pennsylvania Avenue at Court and Joralemon Streets where he used the necessary force to effect the arrest.JACKET TAKEN: A 13-year old boy walking at Schermerhom and State Streets on May 24 at 9:45pm was approached by two men, one of whom threatened him with a gun. One of the men told him to give him the jacket and his money. The two escaped with an Adidas jacket.ELDERLY MAN: A man, 70, leaving the medical center at Hoyt and Bergen Streets onMay 24 at 10am was approached from the rear by a man who grabbed him around the neck while a second man went through his pockets and removed his money. The first man puncnea mm in the moutn ana tne two escaped with $10.OPENING DOOR: A 35-year old woman was grabbed from behind on May 28 at 12:25am while she was putting her key in her door at 170 State Street. Another man approached her from the front with a knife while the first told her not to scream. They cut the strap of her pocketbook and fled with $ 10.FOUR WOMEN: A 16-year old woman was followed by four women from Fulton Street down into the Jay Street subway station and then threatened with a knife. She was struck in the face by one of the women while the others removed her earrings. The four fled with two pairs of earrings valued at $250. The incident occurred on May 22 at 6:40pm.CON GAME: On May 27 at 1:15pm a 40 year-old woman was the victim of thieves who engaged her in conversation and talked her into removing $560 from her bank account for them. The incident, which took place at Flatbush and Seventh Avenues, has been referred to the detectives.PRAYER BOOK TOO: On May 27 at 7am, an elderly woman had her purse and prayer book taken from her after being approached from behind as she was walking on Clinton St. between Carroll and President Streets.GOING UP: A grand larceny theft took place on the escalator at the Smith and 9th St. elevated train station at 12:10am on May 26 when a 33 year-old male had his wallet removed from his back pocket. It included $8 and personal papers, he reported.VIOLENT ATTEMPT: A 22-year-old man walking on Columbia St. between Seabring and Commerce was approached by two men on May 25 at 2:25am. They asked him for a quarter, and when he said he had no money the would-be thiefs jumped on him, slashed his hand and knee and fled.LEATHER AND CASH: On May 23 at 3pm a 59 year-old woman was grabbed while exiting the elevator of the Red Hook Houses on Lorraine St. between Otsego and Columbia Streets.
