7/8 SACSA Basketball
On Tuesday of Week 2, two teams of our Year 7/8 students participated in the SACSA Basketball carnival at The Lights Community and Sports Centre. Under the coaching and guidance of James, Declan and Peter from Year 10, both teams showed
fantastic sportsmanship.
Our boy’s team finished 9th out of 16 teams and showed incredible improvement throughout the day. Our girls came home as the Division 2 champions! Congratulations to our coaches and athletes on a brilliant day.
5/6 SAPSASA Basketball
On Friday of Week 2, our Year 5/6 students had the exciting opportunity to compete for a chance to represent our region in the SAPSASA Basketball Tournament at the Copper Coast Sports and Leisure Centre. They competed with great enthusiasm in Division 1 and 2, and are to be commended for their fantastic sportsmanship throughout the day.
Our girls team finished the day in 4th place, and the boys were 5th overall.
