Day One of camp commenced with an early (2 a.m.)
morning meet at the College. The Year 10s travelled by
bus to the airport, where they flew to Sydney for a quick
visit. Upon arrival, their first destination was the Opera
House for a guided tour. They then explored The Rocks
and the Harbour Bridge. The students walked partway
across the huge bridge, which gave them amazing views
of the harbour and a real sense of just how big Sydney is.
They then travelled to Canberra, arriving at the
Arboretum at 4 p.m., where they participated in an
orienteering race.
Day two began by exploring the Museum of Democracy at
Old Parliament House. They then travelled to Questacon,
followed by the Governor General Residence at Yalumba.
The afternoon was spent at the Australian Institute of
Sport.
