Our Year 3 students learned
to sign ‘We Are One’.
As part of our Reconciliation Week activities, on Friday of Week 5 (Term 2) students
participated in Wear It Yellow day. All funds raised went to the charity Children’s Ground,
which supports a bright future for First Nations children.
Our staff and students really embraced the day, and a total of $217 was raised for the
charity.
Wear it Yellow Day
The Ag Club planted some bush tucker plants in the College ag garden. The plants included
a finger lime, Davidson’s plum, and wild currants. We are very excited to watch these grow
over the coming years.
Our Year 1 students (with the assistance of some Year 3s and
5s) painted using fluorescent paint/colours, which glow or
fluoresce under UV or Black Light.
Our Rainbow Serpent mosaic
created by Foundation, 1,
and 2 students.
Our 4/5 class
created some
colourful wreaths
made with their
own hands!
