Harvest Christian
College is a nut free school. (e.g. no peanut butter or Nutella sandwiches,
nut muesli bars etc).
The 2024 theme for National
Reconciliation Week (NRW), Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to us
all that, no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will and must continue.
NRW is a time for all Australians to
learn about our shared histories,
cultures, and achievements and
explore how we can contribute to reconciliation in Australia.

Reconciliation
Week 2024
Our students learned to play Buroinjin, and read the dreamtime stories ‘The
Crow and the Waterhole’, ‘The Rainbow
Serpent’, and ‘How the Birds Got Their Colours’. Students then completed fun dreamtime story-themed activities.
During Week 5 of Term 2, our
College celebrated Reconciliation Week
in various ways. Our students learned
the importance of reconciliation,
reinforced by undertaking many fun activities throughout the week.
