SACSA Badminton
During Week 6, a group of Year 7-10 students competed at the 7/8 and 9/10 SACSA Badminton tournaments. This was the first time any of these students had competed in a badminton competition, and over the course of both days their confidence and skills greatly improved. Overall, the Harvest teams finished 6th and 8th in the
Division 2 9/10 Boys, and the 7th in the Division 2 Girls competitions. The Division 2 7/8 Boys teams also finished 6th and 8th, and the Division 2 Girls
team finished 6th. It was a great two days for both age groups, and they look forward to participating
again next year.
SAPSASA Open Boys Basketball
On Thursday of Week 3, Gus competed as part of the YP Zone School Sport SA Open Basketball team in the State Championships. With 4 wins and 1 loss for the day, the team finished in 3rd place over all. Congratulations Gus for your selection, and well done to the team on a fantastic effort throughout the competition.
