Throughout Week 5, several teams represented our College at the SA Christian Schools Association Netball Carnivals, at the Districts Netball Complex in Golden Grove.
On Monday, our Year 7/8 girls showed incredible resilience, dedication, determination, and skill as they played with only 6 players on the court the entire day. They made it to the Grand Final, going down in a nail-biter by only 4 goals. An amazing effort! Our Year 9/10 boys and girls teams played well throughout the day and displayed fantastic teamwork. They were all willing to try different positions, run new plays, and had several close games between them.
Tuesday was our Year 5/6 team’s turn. With a beautiful display of teamwork, sportsmanship and resilience, our teams enjoyed a day of fierce competition. Our boys’ team played the day with only 5 players, and their determination was commendable. The girls’ team showed significant improvement and played well, ending the day with 3
wins.
On Wednesday, the Year 3/4 team displayed great stamina by playing seven back-to- back netball games. Their teamwork and camaraderie were commendable, and they played with grace and kindness throughout the day.
Thank you to the senior students who volunteered to coach, team manage, score, and umpire throughout the week. Your efforts were very much appreciated.
