Cross Country State Championships
Blake Jones competed in the Cross Country State Championships in Oakbank on Thursday of Week 6. After competing in the local carnival in May, Blake was selected as part of the squad representing the Northern Yorke Peninsula. Blake displayed great determination at the State Championships, and we congratulate him on his fantastic achievement.
Country Championships
Netball Carnival
Over the June Long Weekend, Isobel Wibrow-Yelland and Cailey Papworth competed in the Country Championships Netball Carnival as part of the Yorke Peninsula Squad. Isobel’s 15-and-under team won 8 games for the day, and competed well in the semi-finals. Cailey’s 17-and-under team made it to the grand final, but unfortunately lost to Whyalla by 12 goals. Congratulations to you both on your selection to the YPNA teams.
Year 5/6 SACSA Soccer
On Wednesday of Week 7 a team of our Year 5/6 boys enthusiastically headed to West Beach to compete in the SACSA Soccer Carnival.
It was an enjoyable day of fierce competition, great sportsmanship, and skill development. Well done on representing our College with determination and fantastic teamwork!
