ProvidingNewsandViewsformorethan30yearsFoxPharmacy,HGHair&Page15theRennieGrovePeaceCharityShop.HolmerGreenFirstSchoolandPre-SchoolDoYouBelieveinDragons?WeDoatHolmerGreen!Here in Holmer Green, we wholeheartedly believe in dragons%u2014especiallyourfriendlymascot,NED!NEDstands for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best, embodying the spirit of our school and inspiring everyone inour community.Recently, we held a fantasticopendaythat brought together two hundred visitors, from families who have attended our school to those exploring future enrolment.We alsowelcomedfellowteacherseagertoseeallthatourwonderful school has to offer.The morning was filled with laughter and excitement, featuring a scavenger hunt around the school with clues provided by NED. Visitorsenjoyedthechancetosocialisewithstaffandeachother in the hall while colouring, sipping tea, and indulging in delicious cake.It was a wonderful morning!Inkeepingwiththedragontheme,ourchildreninKeyStageOne havebeenembracingtheirexcitingtopic,DungeonsandDragons. The Year One children are especially eager for their upcoming trip to Windsor Castle, where they%u2019ll experience the magic of arealcastle.Meanwhile,YearTwohasbeenbusycreatingtheirowndragons,writingdescriptions, and developing advice leaflets on how to care for them.Some of their dragons have been quite troublesome, leading to very entertaining reads!They%u2019ve alsocraftedstunningclaydragoneyes,eachoneuniquelydesigned and painted%u2014just like our incredible children and, of course, NED!AtHolmerGreen,wetrulybelieveinthepowerofcommunity, creativity and, of course, a little bit of magic %u2014like our beloved dragon, NED!IfyouhaveachildstartingschoolinSeptemberbutmissed our open day, don't worry!We haveseveralnewentrants sessionsavailablewhereyoucanexploreand learnmoreaboutour school.Please contact the school office to reserve your spot.
