BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Haskell Ownership
◆ The Haskell Company was founded as a C corporation in 1965 by Preston H. Haskell, who owned 100% of shares.
◆ From 1965-99, Preston remained the dominant shareholder, holding ~85% of shares, with ABOUT HASKELL
the remainder being held by key executives and Preston’s children.
◆ In 2000, Steve Halverson succeeded Preston as CEO and became a significant shareholder.
◆ Preston’s ownership was reduced as more shares were distributed to the management team.
◆ In 2008, Haskell underwent a major recapitalization which further reduced Preston’s ownership.
◆ As part of that capital event, an ESOP was established to share ownership benefits with all employees.
◆ In 2009, Haskell converted to Sub S corporation tax status to create greater tax efficiencies associated with ESOP ownership model.
◆ Also in 2009, in an effort to improve governance with the implementation of the STRATEGIC VISION
ESOP, Haskell established its first independent Board of Directors.
Share Ownership Today
◆ The Company has worked hard to execute a FULLY DILUTED SHARES, AS OF 6.30.21
redemption plan which will fully redeem all shares FINANCIALS
held by Preston and Steve by April 2022.
