Your heartis true, you%u2019re a pal and a confidant. And if youthrew a party, invited everyone you knew. Youwould see the biggest gift would be from me andthe card attached would say, thank you for beinga friend%u201d.I recently had the opportunity to spend somemuch-needed time with friends (Sisters in Christ).It had been many years since we had experiencedfellowship together, mostly in ministry. But thisweekend was different. The ministry that cameforth was on the various paths we%u2019d traveled thatgot us to where we are now, and how sharing itbrought life to each of us. It was a gift.Life is a precious gift%u2014one that becomes evenmore meaningful when we share it with others. Atits very core, the value of life cannot be put inmere achievements or milestones; It is in thesacredness of true friendship. Not just found inthe laughter, shared memories, or even theunderstanding looks across a room%u2014it%u2019s the deep,abiding connection that reminds us we%u2019re notwalking this journey alone. Real friendships arerare jewels, and when you find them, they mustbe cherished, nurtured, and protected.45
