your consideration the proposal that the three  associ­

             ations  be informed that this organization would be happy

             to be considered as a group of consultants  to whom could

             be  brought problems by the officers of the three associ­

             ations,  and this group would review them  from an industry­

             wide  viewpoint rather than that of any one association.




             "As some of you older members know, before the dub was

             organized there had been one or more crises in the affairs

             of these associations  which  m ight have been prevented

             had this club  been  in  existence  and been  privileged


             to offer  its  suqqestions."




             A  motion  was made by Mr. Stone,  seconded  by Mr. Weak%

             and unanimously  carried that the report of the special

             committee  be accepted  with thanks and  its recommen­

             dations  be carried out.




             Mr. J. H.Ruddell  then  nominated for membership in the

            Club Mr. C. E.Gollwitzer, immediate Past President of

            the National  Industrial Distributors' Association-1955-56.

            The  nominatijon  w as seconded  by  Mr. Seymour  and

             Mr. Glesener.

             Association.  The  nom ination  was  seconded by Mr.
